American Advertising Federation – Fort Worth Celebrates Schaefer Advertising Co.'s Owner at March 26th Reception with Proceeds Benefiting Good Natured, Mayor Parker’s Greenspace Initiative
FORT WORTH, Texas, March 21, 2023—The Fort Worth Chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF) is pleased to celebrate the remarkable achievement of Ken Schaefer being named the honoree of the prestigious AAF Silver Medal Award at an award reception today, March 26, to be held at Backlot Studio from 4-6 p.m.
Established in 1959, the AAF Silver Medal Award Program is designed to recognize individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the advertising industry while furthering its standards of excellence and social responsibility. This national honor is bestowed annually by local clubs across the country upon exceptional members of the advertising community. The AAF Silver Medal recognizes the lifetime achievements and ongoing contributions of individuals to the advertising profession.
Ken Schaefer, president and owner of Schaefer Advertising Co., embodies the spirit of this prestigious award through his three-decades-long dedication to the industry. Under his leadership, Schaefer Advertising has evolved from a small design firm to a full-service agency with 50 associates across seven states. Ken's commitment to excellence, creativity, and community engagement has truly set him apart as a leader in the field.
“On behalf of the selection committee and AAF Fort Worth, I would like to congratulate Ken Schaefer on receiving this prestigious award in recognition of his valuable contributions and creative excellence within the advertising industry in Fort Worth and beyond,” stated Keith Powell, chair of the Silver Medal Awards Committee and 2017 recipient of the Silver Medal Award. “We would also like to thank the entire team at Schaefer Advertising for nominating Ken and supporting his win and this event.”
Contributions from this year's award recipient extend beyond the boardroom, as Ken has been actively involved in the AAF and is a founding member of the TCU Department of Design Advisory Council. He also generously gives back to the community through his support of local universities and higher education institutions, often serving as a guest lecturer for marketing, advertising and design classes. Ken's impact on the advertising industry and his dedication to advancing its best practices are truly commendable.
Proceeds from tonight's sold-out event will benefit the honoree’s cause of choice, Good Natured, Mayor Parker’s Greenspace Initiative.
AAF Fort Worth is grateful to the generous sponsors of the event, including: Christ Chapel Bible Church, Higginbotham, Texas Ballet Theater, Magnus Opus, North Texas Community Foundation, Robert Half, and Undertone.
